A Message From Fr. Jim
To The People of St. Patrick, Sacred Heart, Bryan, Montpelier, and Surrounding Community:
There are times in life when Thank You does not seem to say enough!! This is how I feel as thank all who were involved (those who organized, participated, and supported in any way) in the benefit for me on November 11, 2017. There are no words to express my gratitude (and feeling of awe and Wonder) at the incredible outpouring of support in thoughts, prayers, cards, and well wishes as I undergo my chemotherapy. As I have prayed for the Words to express my appreciation and gratitude (even though there are not any), a passage of Sacred Scripture continues to come to mind: Romans 8:37 "What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us."
I continue to fight and hopefully conquer cancer every day by the Grace of God, the Support and prayers of His Holy people (all of you), and the love of Jesus Christ! Again, I thank all of you for not only all your support during this time, but also in the outpouring of sympathy and support during the recent death of my mom! During this time of illness and loss, I cannot imagine anyone being more Blessed than I am to have the support of all of you! Again, Thank You does not seem to say enough!! With that in mind, know that I also give thanks and praise to God and His Son Jesus Christ for all of you!!
With Eternal gratitude & Prayers!
Fr. Jim Halleron
